Goodbye Quinn's Landing (Book 9) - Digital Narration
A peaceful spring afternoon turns into DC Holly Towns’ worst nightmare, once the sun goes down.
A blast of gunfire tears through the glass walls of a turret that rises from one end of Quinn’s Landing. It spins Holly’s world upside down and sends the Criminal Investigations Unit on a single-minded pursuit of the shooter.
Holly and former detective, Danny Cavallo, are meeting with Geraldine Quinn at the elegant lakeside home that has been in her family for generations. The older woman claims she’s become nervous on her own and wants Cavallo to install a high-tech security system, with Holly’s input and ideas.
But Geraldine is strong-willed, intelligent, and connected, her personal and family history interwoven with that of Port Alma. Holly isn’t convinced that Geraldine has shared her real reasons.
The CIU team is focused on Holly and Danny’s past cases, arrests, and convictions, in a race to find the shooter and eliminate the threat. And Holly has her orders. Stay clear of Quinn’s Landing and the case, and work on the spree of car thefts that has plagued Port Alma.
But Holly is drawn back to the lake, as a series of terrifying and macabre events seem to bolster her theories.
Despite that, she could never have foreseen the web of crime and violence that soon threatens Quinn’s Landing, Geraldine Quinn, and everyone she knows. Including Holly, herself, and Danny.
